What time will the Convention start and finish?
Day one of the event will begin with an informal buffet lunch in the Grimaldi Forum at 12:00 midday on 14 March 2019.
Day one sessions end at approximately 18.30. The awards ceremony will commence at 19:30 and finish at 24:00.
Day two sessions begin at 08:30 and will end at 15:00.
Where do I go when I arrive at the Grimaldi?
When you arrive at the Grimaldi forum, you will see several desks with country flags.
Please go to the desk with the flag of your country where you will be registered and receive your delegate information pack.
Who should I contact if I can no longer attend the Convention?
We are looking forward to seeing you all at the Alphega Pharmacy European Convention 2019. If, however, you are no longer able to attend, please contact your local Alphega Pharmacy support team and let them know as soon as you can.
I need to change my travel arrangements. Who do I tell?
If you need to change your travel arrangements, please contact your local Alphega Pharmacy support team and let them know as soon as possible.
I have not received confirmation of my travel itinerary. What do I do?
If you have not received confirmation of your travel itinerary by 8 March 2019, please contact your local Alphega Pharmacy support team.
Do I need a Visa to enter in Monaco?
If you have an EU passport or ID card, you will not require a Visa to enter in Monaco.
Any non-EU passport holders will require a Visa.
Can I park at the venue/hotel?
Yes, you can! All of the Alphega Pharmacy European Convention 2019 hotels have parking. Please be aware you might be charged for parking in the hotel car park.
Will breakfast be available at my hotel?
Breakfast is available at all Alphega Pharmacy European Convention 2019 hotels. You will be advised of breakfast times and location by the lobby clerk at your hotel.
What if I have any special requirements such as allergies or a disability?
Please advise us of any disabilities, allergies or other special requirements you may have during the registration process.
What about extra expenses incurred?
Any extra costs/hotel incidentals incurred during your stay such as use of the hotel mini bar will be considered as a personal expense and must be covered by you.
If you have extended your stay on either side of the Convention for personal reasons, any and all costs are considered a personal expense. Please ensure you settle these extras prior to departing the hotel.
Is there a dress code?
For the plenary sessions, all guests are requested to wear business attire.
For the awards ceremony, men are requested to wear business attire. Black tie or tuxedo is not necessary. Ladies can choose to wear either smart business attire or cocktail dress.
What is the currency in Monaco?
Monaco's currency is the Euro.
There is an ATM in the main hall at the Grimaldi Forum, just in front of the Alphega Pharmacy European Convention 2019 welcome desk. For information on ATM access near your hotel, visit the Currency Information page.
What is the power supply in Monaco?
Electricity voltage is 220-240V and the plugs and sockets are the same as those used across continental Europe. Please remember to bring an adaptor for your electrical equipment if appropriate.
